I hope you find what you are looking for, but more importantly, I hope you're looking for what you want to find.
Remember Proverbs 23:7: "For as he thinks in his heart, so is he."
Prentice Mulford published his book "Thoughts are Things" in 1889.
In the early fifties, Earl Nightingale had the first million-copy self-help album called "The Strangest Secret," in which Earl kicked off the modern-day "Law of Attraction" thinking by teaching us that "We become what we think about most often."
From there, we have had a ton of folks repackaging the idea that Proverbs first introduced.
So, again, while I hope you find what you are looking for, I hope more that you've thought deeply about what you're looking for. I hope you've defined and refined what you're looking for. I hope you draft new notes about it each year, and I hope you look at those notes and focus and adjust month in and month out. I hope your destination(s) are prominent in your weekly plan, on a vision board, or written on stickies that surround your screen or bathroom mirror.
Follow your dreams; they know where they're going – emphasis on YOUR.
I see so many people drifting like flotsam and jetsam on the river of life, bumping into docks and driftwood, slamming into shorelines, and getting tossed about in storms. I see them trying to avoid the rocks and rapids, holding their collective breath. Some wreck upon the rocks while others narrowly escape only to find themselves heading for a waterfall.
That is a life without vision. That is a life without purpose. That is a life without thought.
The universe doesn't check whether you made a plan to intentionally find the life you're leading. It just acts like an inherent GPS, picking up your signal and leading you to that life.
So again, I hope you find what you are looking for, but more importantly, I hope you're looking for what you want to find.
